September 17 Weigh-in

Our latest club comp was fished again by the regular dedicated fishos, with Peter and Annette Akers taking out the ladies and the men’s heaviest bag, with both weighing in a grunter, but Annette proved to be the better fisherman, (or should I say fisherwoman), on the day by also weighing in a School mackerel, the overall weight of her combined catch was 3.322 kg. Terry May was the secret species winner, with his Gunter, and Russell Hughes took out the lucky draw prize. Shirley Shorten took double points with her Trevally. Over all this last comp weekend we had 3 ladies weigh in fish with 4 fish caught; a total combined weight of 4.624kg and 6 men weighing in fish with 9 fish caught; a combined weight total of 5.866kg. Our next fishing BBQ and weigh in will be held on 19th November commencing at 4pm, at the club shed, for anyone that is interested to come along and join us, new members are always welcome.
